SportStake 8 is now called MatchPlay 8. Sizekhaya Holdings took over the South African National Lottery from Ithuba on 1 June 2026 and renamed the soccer pools. It is the operator’s short pool: eight matches, but two forecasts on each, the first half and the second half, so a winning combination carries sixteen symbols. SoccerBetting SA is not the operator. We take no bets, hold no money and sell no tips. We republish the card, the close times and what each settled pool paid. Every page shows the date we checked it, so you never read a fixture list from three weeks ago.

What does SportStake 8 pay out on?

- Soccer 4 Pick the result of all 4 matches on the card. It is the shortest pool TAB runs, so the pots are the smallest, but four correct results is the most reachable target of any of them.
- Soccer 13 Extra A long card of 30 matches, with the payouts published out of 13. It runs about once a week, and its pots are bigger than the ordinary Soccer 13 pool.
- MatchPlay 14 A 14-match card where all 14 have to be right. It is the longest full-card pool the National Lottery runs, so it is the hardest of them to win outright.
- MatchPlay 9/14 The same 14-match card as MatchPlay 14, but scored out of 9. You are picking which 9 of the 14 you get right, which makes it the most reachable of the long cards.
- MatchPlay Omnisports A 14-leg card that is not only soccer. Cards on file have carried cricket alongside the football, which is the one thing that makes this pool different from every other on this site.
- SportStake 13 The National Lottery soccer pool, renamed MatchPlay 13 in June 2026. It has 13 matches, a different operator from the Soccer 6, 10 and 13 family, and its own symbols on the results.
